Ben Cater, Ph.D.

Dr. Ben Cater possesses undergraduate and graduate training in U.S. History and Literature as well as in Latin American Studies.  He completed his M.A. degree at the University of Montana, Missoula, where he studied the religious history of the American West through a generous grant from the A.B.

Robert J. Thompson, Ph.D.

Dr. Thompson is has taught philosophy in Christian Higher Education for nearly twenty years. His areas of expertise include the integration of philosophy with science and art, metaphysics, logic, and analytical philosophy. Rob enjoys hiking and spending time with family in his native state of Alaska.

Montague Williams, Ph.D.

Montague Williams is an ordained minister and has served in congregational, non-profit, and educational ministry over the past 20 years. He most recently served as College Chaplain and Chair of the Division of Religion and Philosophy at Eastern Nazarene College (Boston, MA) before coming to Point Loma Nazarene University in 2017. Professor Williams is the recipient of the 2016 ENC Teaching Excellence Award, and he brings a passion for helping students discern and embrace God's call on their lives.
