Kelsy L. Richardson, Ph.D.

Dr. Kelsy Richardson is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and an M.A. in Theology and Christian Ministry.  She is an alumna of Point Loma Nazarene University and has been back teaching for PLNU since 2015.

Jennifer Konzen, Psy.D., LMFT

Dr. Konzen is the director of the Center for Sexuality in San Diego, CA. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified sex therapist through ABCST (American Board of Christian Sex Therapists), and a certified chemical dependency counselor. She is also a nationally award-winning researcher, an international speaker, the author of The Art of Intimate Marriage and Redeemed Sexuality, and an adjunct professor at Alliant International University, San Diego and Bethel Seminary, San Diego.

Donald W. Welch, Ph.D., LMFT

A counselor for over thirty years and a veteran professor of twenty-eight years, Dr. Welch has been invited to lecture at four different universities and is in private practice and previously employed as a marriage and family therapist staff member at Charter Behavioral Health System of Kansas City, a psychiatric hospital.

Gina Smith, M.A., LMFT

Gina Smith joined the MACC Program as an adjunct faculty member in 2017. She came to PLNU with approximately 12-years of mental and behavioral health experience and over 12-years of financial management experience. Gina has served in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency recovery programs, hospice care, and in private practice. Since 2014, Gina has served as a Consultant to the Department of Navy’s Civilian Workforce where she provides short-term, solution-focused counseling to civilian employees.
