Start of Priority Pre-Registration for Summer School for Current Students: January 16, 2024
If you were cleared for spring registration, you are pre-cleared for summer registration. If you have questions, you should still seek help, but you do not need further advisor clearance to register for summer school. Make sure you take care of any "holds" on your student account prior to attempting to register; then you can register in Workday.

The housing application will open in mid to late April. The application link will be provided via email and will be posted on the Residential Life website at that time.
Summer housing is available for current and returning PLNU students only. Traditional summer housing will be in Young Hall. The off-campus Colony Apartments will be available for students in research programs.
Students working 24+ hours a week in qualified campus employment receive free housing for the duration of the summer employment season.
Per-Week Room Rate: $265*
Dorm Fund Fee - $25
*Students who live on campus will be required to purchase a meal plan; please contact Student Financial Services for meal plan prices.
For more details and important dates, please visit the Residential Life & Housing summer information page.
Summer school housing is not available for students who have been admitted to PLNU for Fall.
Not a Current PLNU Student?
Registering for summer school classes at PLNU is simple. Just fill out our special summer school admissions application (registration begins January 31). For more information about our special admission process, including the online application, visit this link.
Students who are in high school or who are graduating high school the same summer they plan to take classes at PLNU must send in an unofficial copy of their high school transcripts with their application. A cumulative weighted grade point average of at least 3.500 is required to attend PLNU's summer program.
Due to on-campus space limitation, we aren't able to offer housing to non-PLNU students during the summer. Please plan on other housing arrangements.
If you're planning on taking any upper-division courses at PLNU, please be prepared to submit your unofficial transcripts after your application has been processed.
