Hotel Partnerships
PLNU partners with eight Bartell Hotels in San Diego to provide 15% OFF OF BEST AVAILABLE RATES to PLNU alumni, family and friends. In addition to providing a discount, Bartell will donate 10% on all actualized room revenue back to PLNU.

Viewpoint
PLNU’s the Viewpoint publishes relevant and vital stories that grapple with life's profound questions from a uniquely Christian perspective. In every issue, you'll find engaging stories of PLNU alumni, current students, faculty and staff, and others related to the university.
All alumni with updated contact information, receive the monthly Viewpoint Online email and the seasonal print Viewpoint Magazine. The Viewpoint magazine is published three times a year in spring, summer, and fall.

Insurance Discounts
Many insurance companies (auto, home, etc.) provide discounts to customers who are members of an alumni association? Most notably, AAA! If you have completed 24 or more units through our university, you are automatically a member of the PLNU Alumni Association. Contact your insurance agency today to ask about possible discounts.

529 College Savings Plan
It is now possible to buy university tuition units for your children, who may enroll years from now, at today’s rate. 529 College Savings Plans, accepted by PLNU and many other universities nationwide, deliver significant savings on the cost of a private college education.
PLNU is committed to helping families access a high quality education, and participates in Private College 529 Plan and ScholarShare College Savings Plan.
With Private College 529 Plan, no enrollment or annual fees are charged, allowing 100% of contributions to go toward the purchase of tuition. Families are able to purchase tomorrow’s tuition at today’s prices — no matter how much tuition rises or what happens in the financial markets.
With the ScholarShare College Savings Plan, families can enroll in several different investment options, including age-based programs. ScholarShare is a 529 plan providing federal and state tax deferral on any earnings. Money withdrawn to pay for qualified higher education expenses is also free from state and federal income tax.

Alumni Merchandise
Purchase PLNU gear from the campus bookstore! The purchase of any alumni branded gear supports student scholarships! 10% of these profits fund the Alumni Endowed Student Scholarships, awarded to students each spring!
New Grad Alumni Bricks
We are currently accepting alumni brick orders for the Class of 2024 ONLY. Leave a lasting mark on the Campus Mall by ordering a personalized alumni brick. A brick purchase is tax-deductible and supports the Loma Fund, which provides scholarships for many of our students.
The Alumni Association offers custom engraved bricks on which you may
include:
- Graduate's name
- Graduate's major
- Graduation year
- Favorite Bible verse reference
The engraving maximum is three lines with up to 13 characters/spaces per
line.
We are currently accepting orders for the Class of 2024 only.
LomaConnect
LomaConnect is our alumni engagement platform! It is your opportunity to find and reminisce with old friends, make new connections, and stay in touch with Loma. On LomaConnect, you can network with faculty and peers within your industry or field of study, post on the job board, and read inspirational stories of the PLNU community!

Guest Cottage
A stay at the Alumni Guest Cottage is a benefit, reserved for our alumni! The Guest Cottage is available Thursdays through Sundays (with Monday check out), and is located on the beautiful Alumni Lawn. Reservations book up fast, reserve your stay today!
Campus Library Privileges
Register to receive a FREE library card to check out books or other materials! Alumni can visit the PLNU library and its resources both on-site or from afar! The librarians are available via phone call, email, online chat, or in person at the Help Desk to help answer research-related questions or assist in registering your FREE library card.
