I was born and raised in San Diego! I’ve lived in the state of Washington, but my heart is here!

Indio, California — Home of Coachella.

What were your favorite involvements in college and why?

I grew up in a musical family, so I thoroughly enjoyed the extra-curricular choirs such as Point Loma Singers and the annual events we put on like the Madrigal Dinner and the Messiah. I loved working on campus as an intern. It was a great way to grow in the area of what I wanted to get my degree in while meeting people.

Where are you from?

I grew up in the small town of The Dalles, Oregon, but my family lives in Bend, Oregon now. I grew up skiing in the Cascades, cycling along the Columbia River, and hiking in some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Where are you from?

San Diego, California.

What did you study in college and how did you choose a major?

My undergraduate major was political science at the University of California at Berkeley (Go Bears!). My first two years, I took as many General Education courses as I could from various departments before making a final choice. During my first political science course, I realized I had a passion for learning about people, government, and the dynamic exchange happening between both parties. I declared my major shortly thereafter.
