Douglas Fenner, Ed.D.
Dr. Fenner holds an Ed.D. in leadership and educational sciences from the University of San Diego, a M.S., in computer resources and information management from Webster University at Saint Louis, Missouri, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from West Coast University, Los Angeles. Prior to transferring to USD, Dr. Fenner attended doctoral level courses at PLNU. He is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute “Leadership for a Democratic Society” program in which he served as class president.
Ryan Ermert
Professor Ryan Ermert earned a B.S. in Computer Science from University of California San Diego with an emphasis in Software Engineering. He also holds various IT certifications including Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT). While having coding experience with thick client and mobile development, he typically prefers full stack web development. An avid coder, Professor Ermert often browses Github for interesting open-source projects and tinkers with the latest and greatest web development frameworks.
David Frost, M.S., S.M.
Professor Frost holds a MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science Degree (General Engineering and Naval Leadership) from the U.S. Naval Academy. His industrial experience spanned two decades as a systems engineer, project manager and program director in the Defense and Aerospace sector. He has instructed adult learners in both undergraduate and graduate courses for 22 years as an adjunct.
Mason D. Lancaster, Ph.D.
Dr. Lancaster gravitated to the Old Testament because he believes followers of Jesus are to be shaped by the whole counsel of God, and the Old Testament is usually the neglected of the two testaments. Yet an embrace of the Old Testament will help shape holistic individuals and communities in ways as diverse as leading healthy emotional lives and retrieving a proper place for social justice in the Christian life. Professor Nieddu holds a Master of International Management from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Central Florida. His industry experience includes over 13 years as an IT professional holding positions in information security and risk management.
Professor Nieddu’s professional areas of focus include digital transformation, implementation of enterprise systems, vulnerability management, security incident response, IT risk management, and threat modeling.
