We provide a wide range of education opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our learners while bringing a united standard of quality to all programs.

Graduate Studies

Medical Sciences, M.S.

The Master of Science in Medical Sciences provides holistic training in the fundamentals of anatomy and medicine. It’s ideal for learners interested in pursuing medical and professional degrees such as M.D., D.O., DMD, DDS, DPT, DOT, and P.A., especially as applying to these programs becomes increasingly competitive. It’s also perfect for rising anatomy educators.

Some students will have the opportunity to become Anatomy Scholars, who help set up and teach anatomy labs for the ALI. They will have up to 10 units of their tuition covered during their second academic year.

Anatomical Sciences Education, Graduate Certificate

The 10-unit Anatomical Sciences Education Certificate is designed to advance professionals’ skills and knowledge in anatomical sciences to help them succeed in a variety of graduate and professional programs — or prepare them to teach anatomy at the college level.

Minor in Medical Sciences

Concentration in Anatomy Education

The Anatomy Education concentration is for learners in the College of Health Sciences (in programs such as kinesiology, athletic training, physician assistant, occupational therapy, and similar graduate programs) who are interested in teaching anatomy part- or full-time at the high school or college level.

Standalone Courses (Online)

Human Anatomy with Lab

The Human Anatomy with Lab course provides fully online, asynchronous training in the structural organization of all the major organ systems of the human body. Learners will use cutting-edge technology to complete their virtual labs and learn about the human body using the Visible Body-Courseware platform. This course meets the anatomy prerequisite.

This course is offered in 7- and 14-week options during fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Human Physiology with Lab

The Human Physiology with Lab course provides fully online, asynchronous training in the physiological principles, function, integration and homeostasis of the human body at the cellular to organ system level. This course perfectly complements the Human Anatomy with Lab course.

This course is offered in 7- and 14-week options during fall, spring, and summer semesters.

ALI offers classes you can take during high school to receive college credits. These courses are tailored to meet you at your knowledge level. Each class is designed to give you a head start on transferable college credits while boosting your chances of being accepted into your desired program.
