If you feel a calling toward teaching, a teacher education minor will prepare you to get the skills and experience you need to become a teacher in whichever subject you’re passionate about.

The single subject teacher education minor is designed for students seeking to complete their teaching credential. It combines innovative learning and clinical teaching experience to help you become a confident, inspiring educator. This minor can be added to any major* and prepares you to teach a single subject at the middle or high school level.

This 33 unit minor includes 10 units of clinical practice to ensure you’re prepared to earn your teaching credential. You’ll train within a supportive learning environment to become an effective teacher that’s ready to meet the needs of students and shape the future of education.
