What have you been up to since graduation?
Since graduation, I have continued to travel, work with youth, and promote sustainability. I directed a youth leadership camp in Uganda, taught environmental education, pursued Spanish language study in Chile and Argentina, and coordinated youth garden programs for refugee and immigrant students in San Diego. I currently work for an educational travel organization in Flagstaff, Arizona.
How has the Center for International Development helped you in achieving your goals?
The CID offered me the support and resources I needed to make valuable connections during and after my time at PLNU. In particular, with the guidance and wisdom of Rob Gailey and the CID, I was able to found and direct a youth leadership camp in Kampala, Uganda in partnership with existing non-profits. I am very grateful for the relationships formed through my connection with the CID.
