Irena Chiang
Irena is a Manager in the EAC and Academic Coach with Tutorial Services and is passionate about advocating for equity and access in education. She was formerly a credentialed classroom teacher with experience in public, private, and charter schools, and has worked with diverse student populations in Philadelphia and Nashville prior to moving to San Diego. She is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, and a minor in Visual Arts. Irena is furthering her educational journey as a current graduate student pursuing a Master's in Organizational Leadership. When not at PLNU, she loves exploring the outdoors, photography, and anything involving food. She enjoys connecting with students and working to find strategies and skills to further their academic success and enjoyment of learning!
