The Office of Instructional Design creates online and hybrid courses through PLNU's learning management system, Canvas. We work closely with faculty, program directors, and other subject matter experts to provide students with engaging content that meets best practices and standards in higher education.

The Instructional Design team at Point Loma Nazarene University exists to support the design of student-centered, compliant, current and accessible content unique to diverse programs and populations.
We strive to create content that will transform lives through faith-based integration.
We align content to program outcomes implementing both formative and summative assessments to produce a rigorous and dynamic experience. We collaborate with academic departments across the university to fulfill PLNU’s mission: To teach, to shape, to send.
Location and Hours (Remote)
Online
Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with extended hours throughout the week.
