Our hearts and prayers go out to all of those affected by the fires in northern San Diego County, including members of the PLNU community.
The PLNU main campus is not in immediate danger and remains open. Classes will continue as scheduled. Individual PLNU courses through PLNU's College of Extended Learning at Palomar and MiraCosta Colleges were cancelled on Thursday, December 7th. PLNU’s Department of Public Safety will continue to communicate directly with any impacted students and faculty in the College of Extended Learning.
We want to assure parents and families that we continue to monitor the progression of the fire, and we have plans in place if the need arises to take further measures, including a robust emergency alert system for the entire PLNU community.
