Dr. Ross Brunett has been an adjunct professor at Point Loma Nazarene University since 2022 and has just begun his new career as a full time Assistant Professor for the Master's of Science in Athletic Training Program. Dr. Brunett teaches in the Undergraduate Kinesiology Department as well as multiple courses in the Athletic Training Program. Dr. Brunett is a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
Clinically, Dr. Brunett served as the Medical Director and Head Physiotherapist (PT/ATC) for the San Diego Legion, Major League Rugby franchise where he worked both on the sideline and at the team's HQ rehabbing players for their return to play. Dr. Brunett has also worked as a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Beach Cities Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Manhattan Beach, CA working with an active population with a variety of injuries and post-operative protocols. Dr. Brunett's passion for collision sports has extended to also working with club teams including Belmont Shore Rugby Club and creating the first medical department and procedural system for the Rhinos Rugby Academy in San Clemente, CA.
