Professor Lang has been a member of Point Loma Nazarene University’s Ryan Library faculty since 2016. Prior she worked as Outreach and Public Services Librarian at Westmont College and as faculty at Santa Barbara City College and Cuyamaca College. Professor Lang teaches information literacy and research practices and is the library’s liaison to: History and Political Science; Art and Graphic Design; Biology; and Sociology, Social Work, and Family Sciences. Her scholarly interests include diversity, equity and inclusion as represented in library collections. She has presented and published on the topic.
Professor Lang currently serves as a Director at Large for the Association of Christian Librarians (ACL) and has served in numerous volunteer positions for ACL within the last decade and a half. She also currently serves in the local San Diego community as a Member at Large of the One Book One San Diego Advisory Committee and the Member of the Sharp Mary Birch NICU Family Partnership Council.
