Matthew K. Ewald, MPAS, PA-C

Adjunct Faculty, OSCE Coordinator

Professor Ewald is an experienced PA with over 14 years of experience in emergency medicine. He started his PA education over 10 years ago as an adjunct and has served as a preceptor, full time faculty member, and mentor. He also has clinical experience in telehealth and family medicine. Professor Ewald has served as a mentor to pre-PA students for years with an interest in curriculum content development, simulation, rubric development, and student-faculty wellness. He has served in various leadership roles throughout his tenure as a PA and has assisted in the development of PA fellowship programs in South Carolina, where he currently resides. He enjoys San Diego and the ability to serve as an adjunct for the PLNU PA Program nearly since the start of the program.
