Joe LaLuzerne is Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer at PLNU, responsible for all aspects of financial management for the university and the university foundation. Operational responsibilities include oversight of finance and accounting, human resources, enterprise risk management, student financial services, and institutional research.
Mr. LaLuzerne was an associate partner with Accenture, an international management consulting and technology firm. While at Accenture, Mr. LaLuzerne specialized in deploying multi-dimensional data and analytical capabilities to support strategic and operational decision making for clients. During his tenure at Accenture, Mr. LaLuzerne launched practice areas focused on business intelligence and customer insight. Mr LaLuzerne began his career in higher education at his undergrad alma mater, Bethel University. At Bethel, Mr. LaLuzerne served as Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Operational Effectiveness, which included oversight of almost all non-academic aspects of the university. Mr. LaLuzerne has a long history of deep involvement in the local church, including serving many years as a children's Sunday School teacher and church board member. Mr. LaLuzerne and his family also had the opportunity to help plant a new church in their neighborhood while living in Minneapolis.
Mr. LaLuzerne studied mathematics as an undergraduate at Bethel University, and earned his M.B.A. at the University of Minnesota.
