Ashley Nguyễn earned her M.A. in English from San Diego State University with a specialization in Asian American children's and young adult literature and media. Her research interests include diverse YA literature, representations of family, and literary depictions of food. She is also teaching at several campuses around San Diego. When not reading or lesson-planning, Ashley delights in exploring local boba and dessert shops, serving at her local Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement chapter, and Eucharistic adoration.
