The Department of Art and Design is excited to announce MEMORIA ELEMENTAL by Alex Bazan. This will be the first solo exhibition in the United States for the artist who lives and works in Ensenada, BC.
Alex’s work explores memory, location, and making the ephemeral concrete through a continuing interaction with the dam, Emilio López Zamora of Ensenada, a place formerly inhabited by his family that vanished after an historical flood. This body of work is part of an ongoing commission with @insite_art.
