Welcome to the Loma Writing Center!

We are a free resource available to all members of the PLNU community, offering one-to-one support at any stage in the writing process.

Mission Statement

The Loma Writing Center exists to help all members of the PLNU community cultivate transferable writing skills to engage their academic, professional, personal, and spiritual communities. We work toward this goal by conducting one-on-one consultation sessions, supporting writing education across the PLNU community, and participating in ongoing writing center research.

What can a Writing Center consultant help you with?

  • Understanding an assignment
  • Getting started with a project
  • Brainstorming and developing ideas
  • Constructing a thesis statement
  • Integrating sources into your writing
  • Organizing your writing
  • Offering suggestions for revision
  • …and more!
